Trophy Woodland Caribou Hunting
Each and every hunting season in Newfoundland we harvested Trophy Woodland Caribou that have scored in both Boone & Crockett/Pope & Young and SCI record books and a 100% success rate on harvest over the past 15 years.
We hunt the Woodland Caribou in a similar manner as we hunt moose, in fact we often hunt both species at the same time in combination in the same hunting areas. The ability to do this makes our combo hunt a huge success.
We have vast areas of open tundra and rolling hills covered in lichen which is a staple of the Woodland Caribou diet. Our hunting area has excellent vantage points to Glass these majestic animals from. We are truly a desired Trophy Woodland Caribou destination.
Due to the limited number of tags available for the hunting season in Newfoundland, we are selling up to two years in advance as Newfoundland has the only hunt-able herd of the Woodland Caribou in the world. While the over all population of Woodland Caribou has decreased in numbers in Newfoundland, we are very fortunate to hunt two management zones that are doing quite well. Strict management practices should assure this well into the future.
We have scored in both Boone & Crockett/Pope & Young and SCI record books each and every year over the past 15 years and our harvest success rate has been 100%. Our Woodland Caribou Hunts are truly an exciting hunting adventure.
